Movement System Impairment Syndromes (CKR 17 punten)

The two Movement System Impairment Syndromes (MSI) courses given in the Netherlands offer the opportunity to learn how to properly observe, identify, and treat impairments of the movement system. The MSI syndromes were developed by Shirley Sahrmann, PT, PhD and her colleagues.

The MSI courses teach you to identify faulty alignment, movement patterns, and muscle imbalances using observation of movement as well as muscle length and strength testing. You will also learn how to alleviate and prevent mechanical musculoskeletal pain through treatment focused on the restoration of optimal alignment and appropriate movement patterns.
