Rob Langhout is co-owner of practice "praktijk voor manuele en sportfysiotherapie Fysiotherapie Dukenburg Nijmegen" and was a consultant to a professional football club for several years where he also conducts scientific research. He has been a teacher in the master's program for manual therapy at the SOMT in The Netherlands for more than 25 years. He also teaches various refresher courses and conferences in the field of treatment of sports injuries for physiotherapists and sports doctors. He is active in scientific research in the field of biomechanics and movement analysis of football players at University Medical Center Maastricht. He has also published on the topic of football and hip deformities in football players. He is the initiator of the GRP study of the AUAS in Eredivisie football into risk factors for groin pain.
