Head, Neck, and Jaw Dissection
The final course of the dissection series based on the Structural Essentials courses will take us to the head, neck, and Jaw.
By going from superficial to deep we will cover the myofascial structures of this area. We will have a look at the Platysma, the Sternocleidomastoid, the Splenius, the different portions of the Scaleni, and the Levator Scapula. The muscles around the jaw will be dissected out, we will look at the masseter, the temporalis, and the pterygoid muscles. The sling formed by the masseter and the pterygoid will be explored.
Finally we will explore the sub occipital muscles, the vertebral arteries and the C0-C1, C1-C2, and C2-C3 segments.
