Tensegrity Spine Dissection
The Spine, this resilient, strong and robust structure is the focus of the 4th course of our dissection series. We will take you from superficial to deep, from skin to fascia, from superficial to deeper myogenic structures, and finally the spine it self.
We will dissect the different parts of the erector spinae to get an appreciation of its complex structure and different parts. From here we will go deeper and explore the intricate architecture of the deep spinal muscles, the multifidi and the rotatores, the semispinalis, Interspinales, interansversarii, levatores costarum. On the front of the spine we will look at the psoas and quadratus lumborum.
Finally we will dissect out the spine where we will explore the intervertebral discs, the ligaments of the spine, the facet joints, the thoracolumbar junction, and the costovertebral and costotransversal joints.
