Applicability of the terms and conditions: These terms and conditions apply to everyone who has registered for a course at Incitus. These terms and conditions apply to all courses at Incitus.

§ 1 Course prices: All prices (exempt from VAT) are listed on incitus.nl
§ 2 Courses: Throughout the duration of the course we are obligated to offer the best possible support to the student, given the purpose of the course, by engaging appropriately qualified instructors. We determine which instructor teaches the course for which the student has enrolled. We are entitled to appoint (a) new instructor(s) during the course duration.
The content of the course is determined by us and is reflected in the information on the website. To a certain degree, which is known to them, the instructors are free to give their own interpretation to the course.
§ 3 Fee for printed material: € 0,- (Reader) unless otherwise mentioned on the website
§ 4 Guidance and services which are included: X-day course led by experienced teacher, reader (either printed or as pdf), coffee/tea. Depending on the course, an assistant teacher may be brought in in case of a larger group.
§ 5 Registration period: Registration is possible until 30 days before the start of the course or as stated on the website. If more students have applied than we are able to place, there will be no agreement between us and the unplaced students. The students who can’t be placed will receive a personal message. If there is a waiting list the non-placed student will be put on that waiting list. If the student signs up again for the next similar course, the student will be placed with priority.
§ 6 Payment terms and conditions: Unless otherwise agreed, the invoice must be paid within 14 days after the date of receipt or before commencement of the course, whichever comes first. Final registration follows only after receiving your payment (if payment has not been done, we have the right to remove you from the list and add another student to the class). Should the student wish to cancel the course please contact us per email to find a suitable solution. If a student fails to meet the payment or if a direct debit is reversed, additional costs of €15.00 + transaction fees shall be borne by the student. See paragraph 13 for further information regarding sign up and cancellation policies.
§ 7 Payment installments: In consultation, payment in instalments is a possibility. The full amount must be paid before the start of the course and all transaction fees are for the sender.
§ 8 The method of payment: Transfer to account number NL28ABNA0519219716 in the name of Incitus quoting the invoice number. Creditcards, PayPal (only for small amounts), iDeal, or Bancontact can be used as well.
§ 9 Duration of the contract: The contract/terms and conditions are valid until the last day of the course.
§ 10 Conditions under which the course will not take place: When the number of students registered 30 days (in some cases less than 30 days) before the start of the course or in case of illness of the instructor the course will be cancelled. In both cases 100% of the course fee will be refunded. If unable to attend, cancellation of the course, and/or in case of illness of the instructor, the student has no right to claim damages. If unable to attend and/or in case of illness of the instructor, Incitus will provide suitable replacement, if possible. If not, Incitus will inform the student of this as soon as possible. In that case Incitus will provide alternative dates.
§ 11 The cancellation conditions and refund possibilities: Cancellation is possible until 6 weeks before the start of the course. €25,- administration costs + transaction fees will be charged. If cancelled after 6 weeks before the start of the course, no refunds are possible. However, it is allowed to send a substitute in the event of illness of the original participant. The course fee will not be refunded if the student has received the material/handout. Refund will be done within 4 weeks of the cancellation.
§ 12 Holidays and officially recognized public holidays: If the course can only be followed partly due to a booked vacation, the student can’t catch up classes or part of the course or the whole course, nor can he or she claim a refund. If a course, or part of it, is shifted to another time or date, and the student is unable to attend at the newly established time, we are obligated to offer the student a suitable alternative. Suitable alternatives are: the opportunity to attend missed course units at a later date or, if we choose so, the refund of the course fee in proportion to the missed course units. If the student pleads foreclosure, we may require the student to specify and even demonstrate the reason for his or her absence.
§ 13 Cooling-off period: Upon receipt of the invoice the student has 14 days to cancel or make the registration final. If the student decides to cancel, this must be confirmed in writing (or by e-mail). If this is not done within 14 days of the registration, the registration is considered final and the invoice must be paid. This cooling-off period also applies if the participant books the course and the company or employer pays for it. If the company enters into the contract, however, the cooling-off period does not apply.
§ 14 Who holds the copyright: Incitus
§ 15 Liability: We are not liable for the loss of belongings of students or third parties. We are not liable for damage suffered by the student if this damage is due to the failure to follow verbal or written instructions issued by us or our instructors, or due to the physical or mental condition of the student.
The student is liable for damage caused due to failure to comply with verbal or written instructions issued by us or our instructors. The student shall indemnify us for any damage they cause to other students.
§ 16 Ownership rights of study material: Incitus
§ 17 Protection of personal data: The information provided by the client is included in the records of Incitus and the organisations that we hire to teach. This information will not be provided to third parties.
