Strength Training Biomechanics for Physiotherapists and Trainers with Professor Tron Krosshaug
The course is based on unique knowledge of strength training exercises which you to a very limited degree will find in traditional books on the subject.
Professor Krosshaug has for more than 10 years developed 3D animations of strength training exercises where the main focus is on visualizing biomechanical principles, through his company Muscle Animations.
Course description:
A good understanding of how different exercises and techniques affect the load on the musculoskeletal system demands a good understanding of biomechanics.
This course will give you a thorough introduction into biomechanical analysis of strength training exercises. We will use different approaches, including practical and theoretical group assignments and discussion. The analysis will be visualized using our revolutionary 3D animations based on fundamental mechanical principles, scientific literature and our own laboratory measurements.
