Jef Huijbers

Jef has been part of Noigroup since 2021, initially teaching as a trainee under the guidance of Bart van Buchem and Tim Beames. Starting in 2024, he will be offering his own Explain Pain courses in the Netherlands and Belgium. He joined Noigroup because of his passion for chronic pain, science, and education.



Jef works as a physiotherapist specialized in persistent pain at FysioVeghel and as a physiotherapy lecturer at Avans University of Applied Sciences in Breda. In 2024, he completed his musculoskeletal physiotherapy scientist training at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam with honors. His mission is to translate science into practice and education, aiming to contribute to more effective treatment of chronic pain.
