Neuroscientific Pain Modulation is an innovative two-day course focusing on pain research and pain-modulation. With citations of well over 300 scientific peer-review articles, the course represents a much-needed update to the governing theories, narratives, philosophies, and world-views surrounding pain management


In this course, Lars Avemarie strives to pass on what he has learned through decades of studying modern pain science, neuroscience, rehabilitation research, and critical thinking. Lars' mission and goal is to make it easy to stay up-to-date with current pain research - the defining purpose of his work.


Course Objectives


Neuroscientific Pain Modulation is a scientific and principle-based approach to the treatment of any diagnosis where pain is the cardinal symptom. Throughout this course, you will learn and discuss evidence-based strategies to treat diseases and musculoskeletal problems where pain is the predominant complaint.
